Hulu Has Two Abrasive Features But (At Least) One You Can Turn Off

Hulu has been an excellent streaming platform since its inception, housing next-day episodes of many prime number fourth dimension goggle box shows and developing some of the best original shows we've seen to date, including The Handmaid'south Tale. However, as with anything good, there are always a few cons.

Here are ii annoying features that the platform currently utilizes and a style to (at to the lowest degree) turn one of them off.

The first and probably near annoying feature is the "resume episode" characteristic. What we're referring to is when you choose an episode of a rerun or something you lot've watched before and it starts at the last minute of the show instead of from the kickoff and then and then you have to pointer up, then left and hit enter to resume the episode from the beginning. This setting, unfortunately, seems to be built into the platform and cannot be changed (at least from the Roku app).

The irony of this is that the platform seemed to have issues with "not" resuming episodes where someone had left off prior to July 2019. Here is a whole thread where subscribers had been complaining about the opposite problem, hence the likely firm set that we are dealing with now.

A second annoying feature is the "Autoplay" feature (every bit seen above) which is when the platform automatically plays the next episode in a given series as presently as the episode y'all are viewing has finished. What if yous don't want to watch the very adjacent episode and peruse the serial instead? Well, we take good news for you. Y'all can turn this setting off by simply going to "Settings" on your Hulu app and switching "Autoplay" to <Off>.

All in all, however, Hulu has become one of the amend streaming platforms and a great mode to supplant traditional cable, especially if you don't experience the need to scout an episode of a series the 2d information technology airs. If you do, even so, yous tin can also check out the Hulu Live TV packages that are available.
